I am a trained, registered and experienced counsellor based in Edinburgh.  Having found it positive in my own life I have had a long standing interest in counselling and the benefits it can bring.   Having worked in a number of counselling organisations on a voluntary and paid basis I have experience of working with people at all stages in life bringing wide ranging experiences into the counselling room.  I have many years experience working in the third sector including 5 years in a mental health advocacy project and more recently a community based bereavement charity. I have also previously worked as a school based counsellor in both a primary and a secondary setting  At present alongside my private work I  work with bereaved children and young people and their families  in Edinburgh and East Lothian.    I live in Edinburgh with my family.
